What a wonderful discovery!
Fun find!
I like all the brass, rust and red tones in this shot.
Just wonderful !
Best regards, Synnöve
We have them here in Cologne, too, and I'm happy to find them in other places. Love is all around - a wonderful message for a mondy morning!
This is becoming a popular practice world wide. Lovely macro.
I like the different metals, the shiny iron with reflections versus rusty iron, and the brass. I hadn't heard of love locks before, interesting, but it sounds like they are rather a nuisance.
Locks can be so interesting, thank you for another Macro Monday and long may they continue.
A phenomenon that's popping up all over.
I love the contrast of the new lock with the rusty iron of the bridge.
We also have this here in Augsburg .... It's liked all over the World, I believe <3
Heidrun
Looks like a bridge we saw in Paris recently, though it had about 10,000 locks!
Hello Gemma,
i like this idea. In Germany we have such bridges, too.
Thanks for stopping by all the time, i enjoy every of your comments!
No macro shots to share, but I want to invite you to the new home of Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) at http://image-in-ing.blotspot.com/ each week at midnight Tuesday, EST. And you're welcome to share your blog button for your recurring link-up at the page devoted to Wordless linkups - just remember to use your main blog url rather than a link to an individual post.
Hope to see you soon!
