Looks like an icy fern. Like all the fine details in the "ice".
Looks great Gemma & the White really makes the detail of it stand out well against the background Seaweed. I took a very similar photo recently that I haven't posted yet but my White object was a piece of Cuttlefish

What a beautiful plant from the sea.The Ballnaring beach is considered the cleanest beach in Australia.I hope I'll sometimes go there.Greetings Eva
