Unicorn Plant

Unicorn Plant (Proboscidea althaeifolia), Sonoran Desert, Southern Arizona
The Unicorn Plant is named for its single, long seed pod, resembling a unicorn's horn.

Such a rich and beautiful colour. The petal shapes almost remind me of an iris. Gorgeous macro.
